De verblinding factor is heel belangrijk als u overgaat op ledverlichting.

Als je traditionele lampen gaat vervangen door ledverlichting in kantoren-bedrijfshallen of tekenkamers is de U.G.R (Unified Glare Rating) een heel belangrijke factor.
Een goed lichtplan neemt deze factor zeker mee in de aanbevelingen, er bestaan richtlijnen voor te weten:

Kantoorruimtes UGR < 19.
Bedrijfshallen UGR < 25.
Tekenkamers UGR < 16.

Men kan overigens niet alleen maar naar de UGR kijken die de fabrikant opgeeft bij de lamp van keuze, de reflectie (kleur) van het plafond-wanden en vloer spelen hier ook een rol in en dat kan men in een lichtplan allemaal helder krijgen.

Hierbij enkele voorbeelden om dit probleem te verminderen (met een gering lichtopbrengstverlies)
